Torpedo

In this amazing film; there were extra bubbles needed for the submarine and some underwater shots to make everything look more realistic. There was no budget to make this in 3D. So we needed to be creative in Post production. I got a briefing to help with generating bubbles in a diving tank that would be used to composite. Luckily I dive in my spare time. I searched together with Thijs Hasselman for a solution. I found a long hose in a scuba dive shop that we could connect to a diving cylinder. With this we could dive under and have control of generating the amount and speed of bubbles. And so the fun could begin.
